| Walking Pleasant Valley — Greenwood to Cecil Place One of the early residents of Cecil Place, Charles N. Hancher was the owner of a Wheeling store that bore his name, and employed “jewelers, silversmiths, and importers.” A creation of the firm, the Hancher Clock still stands today, just across Main Street from the Wheeling Artisan Center. |
