| Walking Pleasant Valley — Elmhurst to Edemar John H. Kirk, well-known Wheeling photographer and art store owner, and his wife Ella lived in the house numbered 1294 National Road. Kirk (1847–1930) founded, owned and operated Kirk’s Art Store on Main Street from 1879 until he retired in 1927. |
